Our apologies, but we are currently not taking on any new projects.
We develop responsive (and non-responsive) websites for businesses and organisations who need an effective web presence without spending a fortune. Our websites are attractive, easy to use, and search-engine friendly, giving visitors confidence in your business. We handle the entire development process, including registering your website address, the design and build, hosting your website, and listing it in search engines.
Basic websites containing all the essentials. All our websites are professionally crafted and include a unique-to-your-business design. Prices from just £350.
Full-featured e-commerce website professionally built with a unique design (you won't find any 'instant templates' here!), easy navigation and a straight-forward checkout procedure. Your e-commerce website will help you find new customers, give them the confidence to buy, then return and buy again. Prices from just £1500.
Responsive websites automatically adjust their appearance and layout depending on the device being used to view it. This ensures the best experience for your customers regardless of the device they're using to view it. Prices from just £500.
A selection of websites from our portfolio.
Website for a TV/film set clearance company. Design brief was for a minimalist, modern, responsive design. Responsive website design means the content and layout adapts to the device the visitor is using, whether a mobile phone, tablet, or desktop PC.
E-commerce website for a company selling Scandinavian clothing for children. The brief was for a clean website with a friendly, fun feel.
The site also includes a wealth of information on child development, and an integrated company blog utilising the popular blogging platform Wordpress.
Unified Register of Herbal Practitioners
The public-facing website for the URHP. This design is a re-vamp of their original website, which we built for them several years ago.
The site includes information about the organisation, a searchable practitioner database, and an online application form which includes the ability to pay online and set up monthly subscriptions.
Website for a clothing designer and textile artist in Derbyshire. This is a responsive website design, which means the content and layout adapts to the device the visitor is using, whether a mobile phone, tablet, or desktop PC.
This is a re-design of a website created by us in 2009. The update was required to bring the website in-line with changes in the designer's business, and also to complement advertising for a forthcoming solo art exhibition.
British Society for Integrative Oncology
Brochure-style website for a professional integrated medicine organisation. The website includes a PayPal 'Donate' button, and a very simple facility to enable online membership registration. We also designed their logo.
Needs to be Seen Publishing
This is a responsive e-commerce website for a wholesale publishing company (one of our own). Visitors are unable to view prices and make purchases until they have registered and been approved by the administrator. Also features minimum order values.
Radstock Action Group
Website of the Radstock Action Group, a local group campaigning against a proposed development in their town. Includes an RSS feed generated from the Latest News list, and an image gallery. We also designed the logo, based on a rough idea from a member of the group.
reel people Film Society
Information and e-commerce website for a local film society. This is a re-vamp of a website we built for them several years ago.
This version includes an online ticketing facility using PayPal's own shopping cart and stock management. This is much simpler than our full e-commerce solution, but the upside is the price: it costs a lot less for the client to implement, and can be built retrospectively into almost any website. (Please note that, as purchasing options are removed as films are shown, no options are available once a season has ended.)
Keith Wisbey Photography
Brochure website for a professional photographer, which includes a simple PayPal e-commerce facility enabling visitors to book courses and buy photographic prints online.
Chris Down Art
Responsive e-commerce website for a fantasy artist. This website is a direct collaboration between ourselves and the artist; we produce and fulfil his print orders.
Brochure website and information source for a Management Consultancy. Our client particularly wanted to break out of the 'boxiness' of many websites, and suggested some form of bubble arrangement instead.
As much of the information was in the form of long, detailed documents, the majority of links directly download the documents, rather than having very long pages of text.
"Thanks so much Linda :) ...
... You've done an amazing job, I am thrilled with it!!"
Linn Brynildsen, Owner, Mayamin
Linn asked us to add the following:
Linda [Marson] is great to work with, and I felt from the start that she knew where I was coming from. She has great knowledge and great ideas, and I felt my website was in the best hands. I'm very impressed with how efficient Linda is - she goes the extra mile! She also always sees things from a visitor's perspective, the usability and experience of visiting a website. I did have a strong vision in my head about what I wanted my website to be, but the real art from Linda was her ability to tune into my vision and make it reality!
"This looks absolutely first rate ...
... Thank you very much - you've done a brilliant job.
Thanks for working so quickly to enable us to be live for the start of the season."
Chris Moorshead, reel people Film Society
"Just to say I love it too!!!! ...
It's looking really good ... We're very excited about going live with it!!... "
Andrew Loosely, Owner, Healthwise Clinic
"Thanks so much for all your help ...
... we'd be lost without you."
Amanda Leon, Secretary, Radstock Action Group
Amanda asked us to add the following:
"We really appreciate your technical expertise, your positive suggestions, your patience and your rapid response to whatever we ask you to do. People regularly comment on our wonderfully clear website. We really would be lost without you - nothing is too much trouble and everything is approached in a constructive way - we feel absolutely confident in your work because you think about our needs and help us to get our ideas out there."
"OH MY [golly gosh] I LOVE IT!!!!! ...
...I really couldnt say anything bad about it at all! :) The colours look great and the way you have put my picture in looks lovely too. I love how the logo works in well with it too, and i like the stars in the background. Thanks so much - great work!! :) "
Hayley, Owner, Spirit Reader
Hayley asked us to add the following:
Virtual Tapestry always get my requests correct first time around, and often suggest better way of doing things. They are super quick with their work.
We are husband and wife team Linda and Steven Marson. Happiness for us is a good relationship with our clients, which is a frequent occurrence because we create websites they (and we) are proud of, and treat them the way we would wish to be treated ourselves, that is fairly, honestly, and efficiently.
What we do
We learn about what YOU do, who your target audience is, and who your competitors are, then build you a web presence to be proud of. This includes registering good quality domain names (website addresses), creating a bespoke, multi-browser and multi-device compatible (if required), accessible, search-engine friendly website, and then hosting it on our servers.
Here to help
Once the site is up and running, we're still here to help you add new promotions, products, and functionality whenever you need them, enabling you to concentrate on running your business rather than worrying about updating your website.
